I feel ya on those feelings! Unfortunately, unless you step away from social media, it will seem it's bombarded with only baby news! Understanding your body is ultimately the first step. Many of us think that by having unprotected sex = baby! At least that's what sex ed and parents' talk of bird and the bees refer to. So when a majority of us don't get knocked up quickly after having unprotected sex, it gets frustrating. (been there!) Maybe you can start charting or do OPKs to help you? Good luck!!

Newbie here, finding the need for some support. Right now, FIVE of my dearest friends are expecting their first babies. FIVE. Most of them just announced their happy news in the last 2 weeks and are due this spring, and for 3 of them, it only took 1-2 months to conceive.

DH have been trying since for about 6 months, but didn't really get our act together until the last three (started out using non sperm-friendly lube, not POAS to confirm O date, definitely not enough BDs!).

Still, I had a really emotional reaction to last month's AF (it was my longest LP yet and I had so much hope), and of course the day it comes, the lastest preg announcement comes of someone who had been trying for only 2 months.

I am wonderfully happy for all of them, especially those who had been trying for some time, but I'm starting to feel an awful sense of jealousy for all these friends for who it took zero time to conceive. And of course it makes DH and I feel like there is something wrong with us, and the deep yearning to have our own only feels stronger.

How do you ladies focus on your own process and keep perspective when everyone around you is growing (adorable) bumps?

Thanks xx
