I believe those are normal! But sometimes one will get inflamed. It will go away in a few days. I get bumps on the tip of my tongue once every month or so. Unfortunately I think it's a form of herpes that is not harmful but just annoying. They hurt a bit but usually go away in a day or 2. If they continue to hurt for 5 days I'd see a doctor.</p> <p>If the bumps on the back of your tongue don't hurt I'd assume they are normal. They aren't painful and I don't think I would've noticed them if I wasn't sticking my tongue out as far as it would go and even then they are hard to see! Are these bumps normal??? </p>
