Thanks everyone! I'm so paranoid, haha. I'll feel better when I know more about the bleed but until then I'll keep working on chilling out.

I distinctly remember a burning kind of feeling early on. I am 34 weeks now and all is well so far. I never had any spotting or report of bleeding on an U/S, so can't comment on that.

My ob told me :
cramps - ok.
Some bleeding - ok.

Cramps AND bleeding: not ok.

I am 8w6d and just asked my midwife this on Wednesday. She said it's normal to have pains while your uterus is stretching and it's actually turning as well. She described them as a sharp pain followed by dull lingering pain.

She actually described the small bleeds to me as well as she thought I might have one based on my spotting. My 7w2d ultrasound didn't show a small bleed, but she said many women have them and they're not really sure why they occur. They will eventually go away.

I also had very light spotting around week 5 and off and on my whole pregnancy I had the pinch/cramp and I'm currently rocking my 12 day old baby girl so try not to stress too much!!

Up until like 20 weeks, I always had this tight pinch/cramp on the lower left of my abdomen. I brought it up at each of my appointments, and the OB just said it was growing pains and that as long as it wasn't associated with bleeding, it's normal.

FWIW I only had two instances of very light, one-time spotting way back around 4 weeks or so, so if there is a subchoronic hemorrhage, it hasn't bled out at all to my knowledge.

I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow -- having lots of cramping that almost feels like it's burning or pinching down low in my pelvis. At my last doctor's appointment he briefly mentioned 'a bleed' that they spotted on my ultrasound around 8 weeks, but didn't tell me anything more about it or to do anything about it, though he may order another followup scan at some point.

I don't know if they're connected, or if it's just my uterus feeling weird because it's growing or what -- but I'm a worrywart so I'm wondering if this is one of those typical pregnancy things? I'm reluctant to call in because I don't even know who I'd talk to at the clinic.
