From my ultrasound, they were about to send me home, when I started vomiting from the pain even after they gave me an anti-emetic shot. It was super painful and she had to go in for surgery and then found out she was pregnant at the time (after undergoing general anesthesia). When they went in for surgery my overlay was swollen to the size of a fist (usually they're the size of your last finger joint) and starting to turn gangrenous. She said she didn't think my pain was due to a ruptured cyst. So I left the office. </p> <p>On my drive home she called me, she said she looked at my previous ultrasound and was concerned. She said before it was 8mm and now it was 4mm. She is concerned that she only saw part of my ovary. She started saying words like endometriosis (sp?) twisted ovary, surgery. I got scared, and I am scared. She scheduled an ultrasound for first thing Wednesday morning.
