Right after weaning I was pretty deflated, but over time I've filled back in. I'm back to wearing pre-pregnancy bras.

@MrsLonghorn: I ended up being the same cup size (or smaller) but wider, I guess my rib cage expanded and stayed that way! I waited a month or two after to buy a new bra. I had an expanded from pregnancy to put on my old bras so they weren't so tight.

I went up two bra sizes from my pregnancy. I filled out more once my milk came in but didn't go up in size. I dropped one bra size when I stopped breastfeeding. I am about 10 lb. shy my pre pregnancy weight and will likely drop down another once I lose the weight. But I dropped down a size within 2 weeks and have stayed there.

@Foodnerd81: I could... I may need to do that, I'd just rather not.
It would feel celebratory to get a nice bra. I'm actually really excited about it, since my nursing bras were in bad shape by the end. But I guess I can be patient.... :bummed:

Could you buy one or two cheap bras for now then go and get fitted for good ones in another month or two?

Personally I have no idea because I got pregnant as soon as I stopped breastfeeding. These girls have been through the ringer and will need some good quality bras after baby 2 is done nursing!

Following! Pretty much will be fully weaned in the next few weeks! I have not even attempted to fit these babies into pre-preg bras haha!

When did you go bra shopping after you stopped nursing/pumping? or when did your boobs stop changing shape?

My last pumping session was 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I'm confident that my boobs are fully empty now. Sadly, they don't come anywhere near filling up my nursing bras, but my pre-pregnancy bras don't fit well either. How long did you wait before you went bra shopping, if you needed to purchase new ones? I have time to go tomorrow, but am concerned that they may keep changing shape over the next few weeks....am I "safe"?
