Keep in mind with a c-section there is swelling around the incision site, and the muscles are separated (usually at the fascia) so they take a bit longer to recover. I am 16 months pp, and my belly is flat. Its been flat for some time now. My lower abs were definitely weak for the first few months, I just had to do some lower ab exercises to get them back to normal. I dont know exactly when but know by my 6 weeks appointment I didnt look pregnant. I was breastfeeding so I lost weight very fast.
