I labored and dilated to 10cm just fine but DD1 was posterior AND brow out so the largest part of her head was out. I pushed for 2.5-3 hours without much progress and even bled because my midwife tried to help me stretch to accommodate DD's position. By the end I just wanted them out safely! And I was lucky that both my recoveries went really smoothly. I didn't have any tears or stitches from my vaginal birth and my incision healed really easily. That was after 30 hours of contractions. Ugh. My son's heart rate kept dropping, so I was in tears and begging my doc to "cut him out of me" because I was so scared! I also developed an in-uterine infection, and had a fever of 103.5. It was a long two days!
