I'm going to do Week 3, Day 2 tomorrow. Day 1 this week almost killed me with the 3 minutes straight (I know, I'm weak when it comes to running). I've also been doing the 30 Day Shred on the days I don't do C25K and I could see somewhat of a difference last weekend even though I haven't really lost any weight yet.

I've kept going with working out, alternating days for C25K and 30 Day Shred. It'd been tough to get up in the morning but every day, I'm glad I did. I'm still not eating awesomely but I'm still losing some weight and feel like I'm getting on my way to getting toned.

I did C25K Week 2, Day 1 yesterday and the 30 Day Shred today. I'm hoping to keep it up through Friday (maybe Saturday). I feel better although I need to get my eating in check.

I did not get up and do the 30 day shred yesterday morning (I'm going to start that next week). I felt bad about not exercising yesterday so I got up this morning and did Week 1, Day 3. It was a little bit easier which was awesome! So I'm done with the first week and I'll start the second week on Monday!

@2PeasinaPod: I pushed myself and finished Day 2 today! I felt kind of sick at the end which wasn't fun but I pushed through and kept reminding myself that I'd run the last 60 second interval so I could do this one. I'm really hoping it's a little easier on Friday and that I can keep up with the pace of the program (I know it says you can run like 20 minutes at a time in week 5 or 6 which freaks me out).

@Mrs.VW: That is disappointing! I'm hoping I actually stay motivated this time! I mean, last time I tried to do it, I stopped because my knee hurt then immediately found out I was pregnant so I should be able to finish this time!

@BelugaBean: I actually didn't start it! Well, more like, I couldn't start it. My RE shocked me and said that she didn't want me doing anything more than walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes 3 times a week :/ So I guess that puts an end to that goal! I'm bummed because I was actually really motivated to do it!

@Mrs.VW: How are you doing with it so far?

I just did Week 1 Day 2 this morning. I actually got out of bed at 6am this morning to do it because I know LO usually gets up anytime between 7-8:30. It's 7:30 and she's still not up but I'm glad I woke up early to do it. It was hard and I definitely felt pushed to my absolute limit but hopefully that means next time it'll be a little easier.

I think I'm going to try to find my 30 Day Shred DVD and do that on Tuesdays and Thursdays while C25K on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I find that if I run every day, my knees have a hard time keeping up.

I did it several years ago with great success -- finished and continued another program and was able to run 6-7 miles before I let it all go.

I tried it again last year and didn't get very far before I got terrible runner's knee.

Just wanted to offer some support! I used to run a lot before I got pregnant, but like you, couldn't keep up once I did get pregnant! Now that I have LO, it's hard to find the time to get back into it, but I'm slowly working at it!

Do you have an iPod or iPhone? The Nike+ running app has goals that holds you accountable each week! Love it!

Wishing you lots of luck though. It's hard to get started, but once you're there, it's hard to not love it and want more!

I started it over the summer at my heaviest. Got through two weeks before my knee started giving me issues. I am picking it back up to train for a 5k mud run next month. I am in better shape now due to boot camp, but my knee still is iffy. Sometimes I use a knee brace. One of my boot camp instructors gave me two helpful pieces of advice, which improved my running stamina- relax my shoulders because I was so tense worried about the finish line and breath in and out to the same count. Breath in 1,2. Breath out 1,2. Or 123, 1234. I started breathing more and keeping count, which distracted me from solely focusing on the finish.

I love it. I started it around the end of December, and hope to continue till I'm about 4 or 5 months pregnant (I know some people can run longer than that, but with my last pregnancy I did not want to be bouncing around once my belly got to a certain size).
I only tend to do it once or twice a week since I do Crossfit twice a week as well, so I really just go at my own pace. If I'm feeling tired or my shins hurt, I can just re-do one of the days from Week 4 or something, and if I'm feeling good, I can push ahead to a later week.

@Foodnerd81: Yeah, I figured I can probably do 3x a week (again, hopefully). Today I did it during LO's nap but I'm going to try to wake up about an hour before she gets up in the morning to do it.

I've started it, but then always got distracted or lost interest and never finished. I'm lame and lack motivation! It seems totally doable if you can force yourself into the gym or out running the number of times a week they say.

Has anyone done this or is starting to do it? I had started like two to three weeks before I got pregnant and stopped because my knee was hurting so bad plus I just couldn't keep it up while pregnant. I'm starting to do it again today and I really hope to finish it this time so I can run better and (hopefully) lose weight in the process.

Anyone else out there wanting to start it or maybe anyone who's finished it and can share their results/story?
