LO learned very early on (from daycare maybe?) how to close drawers with her hand on the front so fingers don't get pinched. If you have a lot of drawers with nothing dangerous I would wait and see how LO handles it. </p> <p>I also have the kiscords posted above on the cabinets we do lock. We only put them on a cheap free standing pantry cabinet that we don't care about as much. </p> <p>Do you have knobs on the cabinets? We have kiscords holding the double cabinets together. Our drawers are a little hard to pull open even for us so we haven't done anything with them. I'm thinking of getting these cabinet locks but worried about the adhesive ruining the finish of the wood.
