When we lost service within the last 5 minutes of the True Blood premiere last Sunday we called DirectTV and switched. It's a local company and we have no choice but to go with them. Well, we could do satellite TV, but we had no other choice for our internet. I hated Comcast! We always had outages and their customer service wasn't very helpful. I thought we'd have trouble using a dish (I had heard people say that they lost signal all the time), but knock on wood, we actually really love it.
