The drug they give you, fioricet, has caffeine as a main ingredient. Caffeine shrinks the vessels around your brain and reduces pressure. So will Ibuprofin, but that's not something I can take right now. The cold compress sometimes helps, too. Sleep can also help. I have some regular coke at the start of every migraine but most of the time I still end up needing my Rx medication. </p> <p>Headaches are the pits. :sad: Maybe try a cold compress on your forehead or the back of your neck?
