Since DD tends to clam up around strangers and I'm decent with my camera I decided to do it myself instead of chancing that she would get stranger danger with the photographer. Unless I had a lot of DIY details that I wanted captured, I wouldn't hire the pro for the party. We're having a smaller party as well and while I'm doing decorations and have lots up my sleeve, I just feel like a dedicated photoshoot would be more commemorative. We're not planning a big fancy party either. It'll be in our home with less than 20 people attending. </p>
