IT WAS DIVINE. But LO wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. Wouldn't even touch the frosting. For me it was more about what kind of cake I wanted my one year old to eat. I was less concerned about how it would look in pictures! For DD1 I baked a black bean "chocolate" cake - it tasted better than it sounds! For DD2 I'm baking Sarah Crowder's healthy smash cake which is essentially a banana cake with no added refined sugars.
