<description>&#60;p&#62;All the EDD paperwork asks your company to verify is your current hourly wage.  So it won't matter that you had a maternity leave last year as long as you have put in enough hours to qualify for STD/PFL, and the only wage information they ask for is your current hourly wage (so they won't care about last year's EDD payments).  Does that answer your question?

<description>&#60;p&#62;I went back to work after taking Maternity leave on April 9, 2012. I plan on starting my maternity leave for the new baby on April 15th of this year. Is my base period of pay (for DI payments) going to be from April 2012-December 31st, 2012? Or will it be April 2012-April 2013?&#60;/p&#62;
