She said if she had been with him she never would have flown in a small aircraft again. He was trained prior to all the electronic instruments in the early 70's so he is expirenced in flying an aircraft without all the high tech gadgets, but a whole generation of pilots are coming up without those skills. It's a big topic in the industry now. My Dad is a pilot and has a small airplane. He was flying alone last year and everything shut down. On July 6 a father and his two sons-in-law were killed in a freak plane crash (the father was the pilot). Both of his daughters were pregnant (one has since given birth). Ugh, it's so awful. I can't even imagine. One of the couples had taken pregnancy announcement pics the day before.
