Usually it will last about 10 seconds and then is gone. I've never brought it up to a doctor because I don't know how to explain it without seeming crazy and it doesn't happen very often. Have you tried changing your soap or shampoo? There are certain fragrances that for some reason translate to cig smoke for me. It would drive my husband nuts. I also had a constant stuffy nose. Good news is that it went away as soon as I delivered! Even to the point that she asked her administrator to close off the vents in her classroom and shut all the windows because she thought someone was smoking nearby. Finally she realized it was following her everywhere.. and then that it was actually coming from her.</p> <p>Turns out she had some sort of bacterial infection that NO JOKE made her va-jay-jay smell like cigarette smoke!!! Even the NP was shocked, she'd never seen anything like it. It was no big deal though; an easy fix with some antibiotics.
