I imagine a lot of people would have dismissed it as a joke / dramatic attention seeking. </p> <p>Calling 9-1-1 is scary - both in an emergency, and in cases where you as the caller are worried maybe the operator will tell you you shouldn't be calling. I called the police when I saw it at 6 a.m. when I woke up. Apparently she swallowed a number of pills (pictured in the post), but is now at the hospital. I think I'm only posting because I haven't been able to process this at all. She's a total stranger, but somehow it feels personal and I'm a bit emotionally invested. I'm going to try to get out and do something to take my mind off of it. </p>
