It's the teenage drivers and their systems that drive me bonkers, though. Like if your car is drivin down the street and the system is so loud that it knocks pictures off my walls and shatters the glass, we've got problems. </p> <p>Buty next door neighbors.. They're my parents age, and have kids in high school and college. They also have a pool. The kids throw parties all summer long, and it tends to die down around 1am-ish &amp; they're definitely more conscientious now that they know we have a kid. The only thing that REALLY irritates me is that they set off a lot of fire works in the summer and our houses are reaaallllyyy close together. We've had shells land on our roof and our cars, and I've had one hit me on the head before. My husband ran through the yard screaming, and he isn't the type to raise his voice. Now they set the fireworks off in the opposite direction. Your noise doesn't suddenly stop traveling at your fence. I hate incosiderate people. I wouldn't mind if people told me in advance that they were going to be having a party so I could plan to be somewhere else if I wanted to be. At the same time there is a noise level that is just, well, rude. </p> <p>My neighbors always turn the sound and bass up in their truck so much that it rattles my windows every time they are in the car. Sometimes they will just sit there for a few minutes, I guess to finish the song... it has woken Mr. Hedgie up and he isn't a light sleeper. Unfortunately it doesn't last long enough to call the cops. There are two teenage drivers (one has a red car, another green) with sound systems so loud that I've had pictures fall off my wall before when they drive past. We try to ignore it when they blast their sound system around 10:30 at night, but I don't think I'll tolerate it when we have a LO around. They installed outdoor speakers near their pool last year and last night I woke up to their booming bass and a pool party at 2 am, so that was the last straw...I called the cops on their behinds. </p>
