I've bought from this farm in the past and the garlic was really, really good!! Their website doesn't appear to be up to date, but maybe if you call they can give you some good info.

@Mrs. Twine: I emailed my farmer and asked her and posted on the other farmer's market's site. So I'll let you know what I hear back! Dang, you must really HATE grocery store garlic cuz S+H is going to be $$$! :P Why not grow your own this fall?

@Regberadaisy; It is, but someone, somewhere must have storage garlic left. One guy I called in MN was keeping his last ten pounds for his own family (jerk!). Okay, I guess I'd be doing the same, but I really really want better garlic.

I can check our farmers market (it's on Tuesdays only). There is one stand I know of that usually has a wide variety of produce that cannot be found elsewhere and more "exotic" finds.

bahahaha I will keep an eye out and send an email to my local farmer!

ETA: I thought garlic was a late fall/winter crop?

I am turning myself over to the mercy of the hive. Anyone able to source any hardneck garlic (Inchelium Red is my preference, but whatever you can find works)? I have called and contacted pretty much every source I can find, and due to some fungal problems last year, there is none to be had pretty much anywhere. I am dying here. I will gladly pay for the cost of the garlic and for shipping, and even kick a little extra your way as a finder's fee. I just cannot cook with this bad grocery store garlic any more!
