But I got pregnant in May, so it was the end of cold and flu season and I wasn't quite as concerned about airborne precautions by then. My only restriction (and this was self-induced) was no droplet/airborne precautions. We are not actually properly fitted for the N95 masks, so when we had r/o flu/TB/etc patients, I called my supervisor to work with those patients. </p> <p>Also, on a few occasions we had violent patients, and I called my supervisor. I work in a children's hospital with lots of really sick kids. I was initially planning on waiting until I was further along to tell my coworkers and boss, but it just dawned on me that they'll have to know sooner rather than later. </p> <p>I know I'll have some restrictions, but I'm curious what everyone else did. If you work in healthcare, when did you announce your pregnancy? What were your restrictions (ie- no chemo, isolation, psych pts, etc...). </p> <p>Thanks in advance guys!!! </p>
