I use it occasionally for working from home, and used it for papers and homework for 2 years of grad school. I've had it for 5ish years and it's still running absolutely fine. </p> <p>When I bought it, I was replacing my parent's old dell that they'd had for ages. </p> <p>With light/mostly web browsing word processing work, you really won't need much. </p> <p>We use both Word and Google Docs at work a lot. If you want to use it for a year or two and then be done with it, I would go with the cheap $200 one.
