@dc yoga bee: No I'm not scheduled to have anymore ultrasounds this cycle.

I'm also just basing this off of what happened last cycle. I was at 20mm on CD 13 and then 27mm on CD 16 so my follicle did grow exponentially in just 3 days.

I'm going to be patient and wait it out to see what happens. After all this time, what's one more month? :bummed: Ugh.

@mrskansas: 18 & 20mm can still grow a bit more without being too big. If you don't normally ovulate until day 20, it's possible they will only grow a bit more before ovulating. Are they having any additional ultrasounds?

@dc yoga bee: Well when I'm not medicated it's usually well after CD 20. I would just think with my follicle size it would happen now otherwise they would be over mature by ovulation.

@SweetiePie: Yes they said I should be ovulating any time. I won't be able to trigger until tomorrow morning though since the shot is coming from an out of state pharmacy.

Last month, my follicle grew an average of 1.75mm per day after it reached 20mm, so tomorrow if they follow the same pattern, they would be around 23.5mm and 21.5mm, which I think are acceptable sizes.

When do you typically ovulate? I'd be inclined to say you could still have a couple of days.

@mrskansas: Hmmmm, that is interesting. Did your RE say when they thought you should ovulate based on what they saw yesterday?
Is it at all possible to trigger sooner just in case? So the follies don't get too big?

This is my test from noon today and all of them over the past few days have looked just like this.

@SweetiePie: I've been testing multiple times a day. 6 AM, 12 PM, 5 PM and 9 PM, so there is no way I've missed it.
I can tell I haven't ovulated since I still have EWCM and my right ovary, where both of the follicles are currently living, feels like it is going to pop from all the pressure.

ETA: I started testing on CD 10 and they've all been really light.

Oh also, have you been testing for a while now this cycle? Is t lighter or darker than previous tests? If it's lighter I'd be even more inclined to say you missed it with the tests.

@mrskansas: Is it possible you already missed the surge? Just with the tests I mean. It can change within a day, so I always tested 2-3 times a day just to be sure I caught it.

Could you get another ultrasound from your RE tomorrow morning to see? I'd rather do that than trigger unnecessarily if I've already ovulated.

I need some insight and expertise.

I'm currently on CD 12 after taking Femara on cycle days 2-6. Yesterday I had my mid-cycle scan and had two mature follicles measuring 18mm and 20mm. I used OPKs yesterday, this morning and again about 10 minutes ago and they were all super negative, like barely a hint of a 2nd line.
The same thing happened to me last month and I ended up having to trigger when my follicle was at 27mm, which may have been too large. I didn't get the trigger this month since I was really wanting to ovulate on my own, but after a negative OPK last night I ordered it and will use it tomorrow morning if I don't see a + before then.

Does anyone have any idea why I wouldn't have a natural LH surge? I've always ovulated fine during natural cycles.
