@mrsjazz: I think I might start offering breastmilk in the bot. She refuses a bottle.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Seems like too much to me, but then again what do I know? Every baby is different. I'd check with your pediatrician. Can you just lower the amount of water you give her in the Zoli Bot and offer her more milk/formula instead if she seems thirsty?

I think 16 ounces is ok randomly, though it seems like a lot for an 8 month old. I know that my daughter has always had hungry/thirsty days and less hungry days. I think I'd be fine with it here and there, especially if they were also eating a lot and nursing more.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I think the two sippy cups is fine, 16oz may be a bit much...but you would think she would only drink if she is thirsty. Could you call and ask your pedi to clarify?

@NYCaliMama: 16 was just once.

Usually she has two sippy cup fulls....about 5 oz each.

As long as it doesn't decrease the amount of breastmilk/formula they should be getting, I think it's fine.

ETA: just re-read the post. 16oz is a lot though! Hmm maybe limit it a bit here and there... Does it interfere with her appetite for solids or milk? She's probably fine, but maybe she was just super thirsty that one particular day.

Our ped told us LO could have up to 6 oz a day when LO was 7 months and that she should be drinking 4-6 o a day after starting solids.

(Maybe a really stupid question)

My LO is obsessed with her Zoli Bot and drinks up to 16 ounces of water a day (norm is 10). Is this okay? I am not sure if there is a limit with babies under one year.
She is almost 8 months.
