We got one from mygreenmattress.com. Firm, organic but pricy. He likes it - but doesn't really realize that beds can be soft :)

We just bought this in a full and it is very comfortable. I'd also say it's on the firm side.

We bought my daughter (at age 5) a Tuft & Needle mattress and it seems plenty firm to me...she was sleeping on our old guest mattress before that which was a pillowtop. So far I haven't observed any adverse effects from either.

Our two year old is in an IKEA mattress and it's very comfy. I actually sleep awesome on it. It's decently firm and supportive.

I was going to get a foam one on amazon (lucid - medium), but then read that kids need a firm mattress so now I'm not sure. Any recommendations?
