I'd give it a couple more weeks. Things take time to go back to normal. I was back to my prepregnancy weight 2.5 weeks pp but couldn't button my jeans until 6 weeks pp.

I'm 6 months postpartum with my 2nd and it is definitely way worse than the 1st time. I bounced back somewhat quickly the 1st time. I didn't worry too much because I knew we wanted our kids close in age so I'd be pregnant again soon. This time I don't think I'll be able to get rid of that loose skin without a tummy tuck.

It's usually recommended to wait until 6 weeks pp to do any exercise or toning. I feel like mirrors and normal clothing should be banned too! It'll go back ... I'm 10 months pp, and things are finally fitting me the same way again. I lost my weight quickly too, but it took a long time to go back to normal.

Yes, I had the same thing, but it took me more like 6-9 months to lose the weight. I had to go down a pant size from pre-pregnancy, but still had enough loose skin that I looked like I had rolls while sitting/leaning over. I got pregnant again before it went back completely, but it was starting to get there! Just give yourself some time.

I'm 13 months PP and my skin is still a bit loose. It's definitely tighter than it was before, I just need to work on toning it up.

Yup I lost the baby weight easily but was left with a lot of tummy skin! A lot of it did actually seem to sort itself out alone, it was like it pinged back slowly over a few months. By 9 months pp I thought enough was enough and started to work on it properly. It's now a whole lot better, altho obvs not quite like pre baby!

Your skin will take awhile to tighten back up (elasticity takes time), as will everything else that has to shift back into place.

Yeah, but your organs are still moving back into place. Don't rush into toning for a few more weeks.

Just curious if anyone has had a similar experience.

I'm currently 3 weeks postpartum. I only gained 17 lbs during my pregnancy (not sure how I managed that!) and I'm already a little below my pre-pregnancy weight. The thing is, I have a bunch of loose skin around my tummy and I don't think I'll be able to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. I'm guessing this is just going to require some toning up.
