I think different doctors just measure differently. One time I had an ER nurse tell me I was 50% effaced and a week later my OB told me I wasn't effaced at all...

So I'm 37w3days and at last weeks appointment my Dr. said baby was low. This week a different Dr. said baby was still pretty high up. He's been head down for a while and I definitely feel like I've dropped but I don't feel that "gonna drop this baby out" pressure all the time. It comes and goes. I just assumed that once he was low he would stay there. Does anyone know if they move up and down in the pelvis like that this late in the game or felt intermittent pressure towards the end?
