Get it wet and practice your french braids. I also agree that the tiny plastic elastic a help. I have fine, straight hair that just slides right out of anything I try to do with it. I usually just do two half pigtails to get the side hair out of her eyes. The braids go right on one side. </p> <p>I also find that it's easy to braid her hair if her hair hasn't been washed in a day. My hair is super fine and my girls have the same hair. I attempted to braid the front of her hair this morning to get it out of her face and after 7 attempts, I gave up and put it in a side pony. </p> <p>Any tips for braiding fine hair, if it is even possible? My lo has short hair so I'm just trying to do a little braid in the front to get it out of her eyes. </p>
