If I had a bottle in the fridge, I would defrost the frozen milk in the fridge until they're both fridge-temp. Typically Friday's milk gets frozen then defrosted Sunday evening for Monday. And if for some reason I pumped over the weekend my mom just mixes any leftover frozen with the new stuff. Ie, if I defrost 3 oz of frozen milk, can I combine 1 oz of it with 2 oz of refrigerated milk? </p> <p>I want to make sure that LO is getting enough hindmilk and more recent milk with the nutritional value that he currently needs. </p>
