I did need IVF for my endometriosis but because you have already been pregnant twice I feel like you have a good chance. IVF and PCOS prevent pregnancy from happening, not making you miscarry typically so it seems unrelated. Sorry for your losses. If you have a 3rd usually they will do some genetic work ups to see if there is anything else going on.

@milag64: actually, PCOS has a much higher risk of miscarriage due to the imbalance of hormones. The uterus usually doesn't grow a thick enough lining to sustain a growing embryo / fetus.

I have PCOS. When we concieved naturally and didn't know about the PCOS, I miscarried. With clomid, metformin, and progesterone, I was able to have a "successful" pregnancy.

I don't have pcos, but I do have endometriosis. I've become pregnant three times successfully with minimal intervention (clomid for the first two, and vitex for the third), although this was after laparoscopic surgery. I assume that you had a lap, did they say how bad your endo is? It can cause miscarriages, but not always.

Im not sure how endometriosis works in this picture, but my understanding is that PCOS is more of a problem for conception (bc the eggs wont come out) and doesnt affect viability of baby once its fertilized. So the fact that you've been able to become pregnant twice seems like a great sign as far as the PCOS is concerned. (extremely non-medical opinion)

I've been diagnosed with both PCOS and Endometriosis. I'm in a bit of shock but in all honesty I did see it coming, this is CD 50 for me!

I'm 18 and my partner is 22. We are both in good shape, although my partner is a bit of a foodie and has the odd cigarette. We are not trying, yet not preventing. Although, by the looks of it, the chances of anything happening are slim. My GP has advised that IVF would be the best route, given the Endometriosis on top of PCOS.

Last year, I miscarried at 10 weeks and then again at 8 weeks (the cycle after I miscarried, I became pregnant straight away). It was an extremely difficult time for me. It may be worth mentioning, that at the time, my cycles were bang on every 28/29 days. They were lick clockwork. For the last six months, they have been all over the place.

Please can anyone shed some personal experience for me? It's a really difficult time and I feel rather taken aback
