@mamacate thanks for response. Missed my chance on good naps today as we were running errands but at least she's in a good mood.

I don't know if this will be helpful or not, but here goes: we switched LO to one nap at 12 months as this was the daycare schedule as well. We aimed to eat lunch and have her down by 12, but she was often up at 6. So maybe in your case aim for 12:30 or 1?

We used to rock her down for naps and night, but this stopped working a few months ago. She is now 23 months but for the past few weeks we have been putting her down for her nap and leaving her for an hour. If she is still up at that point, we get her up and try to have bedtime earlier. Most of the time she will fuss and fall asleep.

Let me know if you have questions...naps can be soo hard!

Hi all. My daughter has never been a good napper and I was kind of just going with the flow hoping she would fall into a good schedule but no luck. I have twin 3yr olds who keep me busy and my daughter doesn't want to miss a thing. She will cat nap but can go all day without a nap. She is a late sleeper so I haven't figured out what time works for naps. I think shooting for one nap a day would be best at this point if its possible. She goes downloads around 7:30 and on a good night wakes to nurse atround 5:30 and goes back to sleep to 7:30. How long after waking should I aim for a nap? How long do I let her carry on if she doesn't fall asleep? Any tips appreciated.
