Thanks girls! :o) I'm absolutely ready to drop it, but I want to be able to still do the bedtime feed on the 4 days I'm home, even though I'm no longer pumping. I guess I'll try dropping it this week and see what happens!

If you're tired of it, then I say drop it. Your body will adjust to the change and stop producing milk at the time you usually pump. Congrats on making it so long!

You have my Official Permission to stop pumping.

I'm joking, clearly, but it sounds like you're putting out a lot of work for very little pumped milk. And your daughter is a toddler now, she should be ok with one ounce of breastmilk a day less. I applaud you for doing it for so long, and I think you ought to give yourself permission to be done with the hassle.

It doesn't seem like it's worth the trouble to keep pumping. How old is your LO?

I work 3 days a week (12 hour shifts) and am down to pumping at work only once at 7 pm. I nurse at 8 am every morning, and on the days I home, I nurse at 7 pm. I don't get much at all when I pump at 7 (*maybe* one ounce from both breasts combined), so is it possible to stop pumping all together and still continue to BF at 8a and 7p on the days I am home? Thanks!
