Yes progesterone delayed my period when it was BFN, by 2 or 3 days I think. Also agree to go by trigger date plus 2 weeks opposed to your unmedicated cycle length. Good luck!

Agree with above, normally younstart letrozole days 5-9 and trigger around day 12. Since you started so late, you are definitely on a later schedule. Also, progesterone will definitely delay your period

@MLE81: that is a lot of waiting! Fertility meds took me from a 24-26 day cycle to 28-29 and I felt like THAT took forever. *Disclaimer* I'm a POAS junkie, but testing in the next couple days wouldn't be stupid early, but could still be too early. Best of luck to you!

@Sams Mom: Thank you for your reply. That makes total sense to me. I have taken Letrozole before but always earlier in my cycle, and I have also started my period even while on progesterone. So I guess I shouldn’t get my hopes up yet....still a lot of waiting left for me this (extra long) cycle!!!

Based on the CD #s you mentioned you won't be late until CD37ish. If you triggered on CD 22 (I've never triggered but I'm going to say you O within 24 hours), ovulation would be CD23. So a "standard" LP of 14 days would put AF due on CD37ish. The test date of January 2 would be CD37/14 dpo.

Femara can lengthen or shorten your cycle depending on what is average for you and what days your doctor tells you to take it. The progesterone support staves off some women's periods while others (me) start in spite of progesterone.

This is my first cycle TTC again after a loss in October. Due to PCOS, I was prescribed letrozole and given Ovidrel to help with ovulation. Have also been using progesterone suppositories since suspected ovulation (was never confirmed with a blood test this cycle due to my fertility clinic closing for the holidays). I am currently on Day 32 of my cycle, with no sign of AF yet. However, my POAS date isn’t until Jan. 2 as instructed by my doctor. Trying not to get my hopes up, so wondering if perhaps the meds and progesterone could be delaying AF? I’m a little sketchy on the dates, but I don’t think I even started taking the letrozole until Day 15, and the trigger shot wasn’t until Day 22.....guessing that’s why my POAS date is so late? Does anyone have experience with fertility meds delaying AF without a BFP?
