I didn't really know that they were a tho g when we got them. They are cute and soft, they are well made and fit little hands well so that might be a reason for the high price tag. Although to be honest, of he wasn't gifted them, I'm not sure I would have shelled for them. I ended up getting him a jellycat dog because they are just SO soft and are good quality for the price.</p> <p>Up until he got the dog, he would have to be rocked to sleep - once I allowed him to snuggle with his dog at night he would go to sleep on his own! So maybe.... jellycat = magic? She fell in love with it recently and now it's her comfort. When she's upset, I can give her the jelly dog and she squeezes him so tight. I think their softness makes them special. They are super soft and have a nice weight, they sit nicely too.
