I think other people have suggested this, but adding in Greek yogurt would give you extra protein &#38;amp; keep you full longer- making it less likely that you make mistakes. It looks great though!

<description>&#60;p&#62;It looks good overall, but I thought the same thing as @78h2o about the protein. I would probably add avocado and chickpeas to the lunch salad to give it a little something extra, but that's just me! Also, I'd check out the dressing as @mrbee suggested because often they can be surprisingly unhealthy. Usually I'll just go with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, but if I'm feeling fancy I'll make my own dressing with dijon mustard, balsamic, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper :-) That smoothie sounds delicious. I need to get better at breaking out the blender!

<description>&#60;p&#62;@Mrs. Pen:  I think it depends on the goal... You are probably right re: the full fat, but if the goal is weight loss it might be worth saving the calories. My perspective is a little skewed because I work in a multidisciplinary weight management clinic. Our dietitian recommends low fat/nonfat but I think that is because people are dieting. I'll have to ask her if she agrees with full fat dairy otherwise.

&#60;p&#62;@78h2o:  she had cheddar in her salad :) also I would suggest, if any of you eat yogurt, to actually get full fat yogurt. It's a common misconception that low or non fat is healthier but its not. It's all about good fats vs bad fats. Fats in Processed foods like chips: bad! Fats in foods like avocados or dairy: good! When a food is altered ( like dairy, the fat is extracted and then artificial synthetic vitamins added back in) it isn't as good for you as food that is as close to its original state as possible :)

It looks like you didn't really have any until you got to the chicken and almonds at the end of your day. Were you hungry at all? If so, I'd suggest adding some protein earlier on... perhaps adding nonfat Greek yogurt to your smoothie (I know almond milk has a little protein, but a splash probably doesn't have much). Or, you could add a small portion of lean protein to your salad (e.g., salmon, chicken, hardboiled eggs or beans). Also, bananas have a bigger effect on blood sugar than some other fruits (e.g., berries or apples), so again, if you were hungry, maybe try a lower carb fruit. Are you trying to lose weight or just eat healthier? Kudos to you for making positive changes!

&#60;p&#62;Dinner:&#60;br /&#62;
1/4 of acorn squash with a drizzle of maple syrup&#60;br /&#62;
boneless skinless chicken breast&#60;br /&#62;
quinoa cooked in low sodium V8 (so good!)&#60;br /&#62;
cup of steamed brocolli&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Snack: Kiwi/small handful of almonds&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;How did I do? Drink wise just water besides the tea I mentioned.
