Yes! We had a similar experience with our necklace :) I always doubted it until he didn't wear it for a few days and things were out of control with it off. After returning the necklace symptoms subsided and everyone including DH and my mom are now full believers! It's not a cute all but sure made improvements.

I've been meaning to get one for myself and my thyroid :) It's supposed to help with that as well.

i've heard wonder stories like this, but it hasn't seemed to matter for R yet. i'll reassess when an actual tooth starts to come through and we can use the necklace. she still has the same sleep (1-2 times a night) and temperament is the same. but if it works, use it!!

I've read that the placebo effect does work on babies (they pick up on your belief that it will help), which would explain why homeopathic remedies seem to work. But this doesn't seem like the sort of situation that would apply to the placebo effect as much? I'm REALLY curious about these, and may try them when we finally have a baby. What's the worst that could happen, really?

Baltic Amber is said to release an analgesic, but I have a hard time believing that it could be effective in the quantities that would be needed. But never say never!

The resin of the amber crystals really should reduce inflammation so it should help. My mom wears one to help joint & back pain... She refuses to wear it regularly though so who knows if she gets any of the benefit. Lol

Yep, we had similar results. If C didn't wear it, we could tell the difference.

I have been wanting to try one! I keep going back and forth, but since my DS's sleep is getting worse (9 months) I am very tempted!

But has she had this necklace from the beginning or did you recently get it when her sleep improved?

A couple weeks ago, my LO had 3 nights of horrible sleep. She's never been a good sleeper, but she was waking up 4-6 times instead of 1-3. She was fussy, super clingy, and was putting everything in her mouth. After the third day, we realized she didn't have her teething necklace on. We put it back on, and her sleep and demeanor went back to normal. We were shocked....but thought it was just a coincidence.

Yesterday, I took the necklace off for LO's bath and forgot to put it back on. Last night she woke up every 30 minutes screaming. Her nose was super snotty and runny, and she just wanted to suck on something all night. She was even happy sucking on the nipple of an empty bottle (my boobs needed a break).

Could a silly necklace really prevent all this snottines/drooliness/fussiness? I don't want to believe it, but I'm starting to think it's a magic worker.
