Made me freak out a bit, so I asked at a 36 week ultrasound to check again, and was again told girl. When I was 40 weeks people were still insisting it was going to be a boy, but I had a girl. It is so funny how some people are so opinionated about what gender people are having. I mean, it would be one thing if the ultrasound tech couldn't get a super clear shot or something, but if you have a good shot of little boy parts, I think even someone who doesn't look at ultrasounds often can tell it's definitely a boy! People are constantly saying I look like I'm having a boy based on the fact that my belly is sticking straight out like a basketball, but I have never taken those theories to be true. I'm a firm believer that it's really the mothers body that makes the belly look either basketball or watermelon.
