She has a real distressed cry where I know she wont' fall asleep and a whiney cry that says "I'm so tired but don't' want to fall asleep but can't help it." that one I can let go. There's a huge difference in their different cries. I can usually tell I'm hungry vs I'm tired too, which mystifies DH!
