They've actually gotten more distinct to me as they get older. </p> <p>I don't really have to pick them out of a crowd ever, but pretty sure I'd be able to tell my own. If a random child is crying outside of my apartment, then I will always stop and listen. My logic is as follows: maybe Charlie or Olive broke out of school and came home... and then broke into tears in front of our house because they wanted to come inside.</p> <p>This is incredibly unlikely and yet I always stop and listen to crying kids as they walk by our apartment. When they were babies, I used to be able to distinguish our kids' cries from other babies, but most toddler cries kinda sound the same to me these days. I have to listen for a while before I'm sure that it's not our kid. Need to work on that one.</p> <p>Can you distinguish your toddler's cries from other toddlers? </p>
