The tips are slowing wearing off, kinda like when you have acrylics, but it's hardly noticeable!</p> <p>To sum it up - buff surface of nails to help polish stick, apply Orly’s ‘Bonder’ base coat, two coats of polish and top coat from Seche Vite. Literally, within a minute of applying the top coat, your nails are dry and you can actually do things!!! I don't know if they chip less often, but I do give a nice manicure to myself. One of my BFF's even requests me do her nails on occasion! </p> <p>I always just make sure they're short and filed and any pieces that look like they might chip, I file off. </p> <p>Then I put a clear coat of polish on and I make sure to coat the ends of my nails, not the top, but the ends... ya know? </p> <p>Then I apply the colour carefully x2 (with drying in between), again, I ALWAYS make sure to coat the ends of my nails. No matter what I do, no matter how careful I am, no matter what polish I use, I always seem to get clumpy nails that chip right away. I get so frustrated!!</p> <p>However, my sister can do my nails using the exact same polish I've tried, and they'll last over a week without chipping! </p> <p>Obviously, if I get a professional manicure, that will also last a while.</p> <p>But, my sister can't do my nails every week and I can't afford regular manicures, so I need to figure this out for myself!</p> <p>Any tips, polish recommendations, top coat recommendations? Help a girl out! </p>
