If they are asking for something whining doesn't get them anywhere with me (3 yo twins). I say, "I can't understand you when you whine. You'll have to ask me in your normal voice." Then I reward the normal voice. I have no idea how to make it stop, I constantly ask them to please stop whining, but ignoring it is definitely not an option for me. </p>
