I used a hair dryer for a while and kept fluffing it and letting it hang in the bathroom. I wash our down comforter a few times a year and it's always fine. The only pain is getting it dry. Obviously outside isn't an option for most of us right now so I'd put it in the dryer, then lay it out somewhere for a day or two, then back in the dryer until totally dry. Thanks for mentioning that!</p> <p>I also dug out an old blanket for the dog to sleep on when he's on the bed. I think he just had an upset tummy, but I'd rather not have to wash it again! I always machine wash/tumble dry at the end of the season.
