We planned on using it in our room for the first couple months too. She would sleep like 10 minutes in it and then scream her head off. I totally feel for you because I know my DH would roll his eyes and make snarky comments if our baby doesn't like the UBV too! Actually, I've heard a lot of moms (UBV &amp; Bugaboo) say their babies didn't like being in the bassinet for stroller rides at all. So, I never used that as a selling point with DH except that we can use it as a travel bed or bassinet for nap-times. She might not like ANY stroller! I would definitely suggest trying the seat with the infant insert, she might like that better (especially if she doesn't mind a carseat). Then when she gets a little older, you can use the bassinet for naps or as a place to sleep while traveling. I ended up getting the infant insert for the seat and she was much happier. Maybe try to swaddle her, elevate the bassinet pad, and surround her with some blankets (not for sleeping obviously just for the walk). See if any of that helps make her feel more safe and secure. </p> <p>Honestly, our stroller (B-Ready) was so smooth I think it didn't have enough "vibrations" to calm her down on a walk. We used to kinda wiggle the stroller side to side as we walked to help calm her down until she got used to it. </p>
