My new SUV has a backup camera, so now I'm even better at fitting the car into tight spots. Really helps you to learn the ends of your car. When I lived in the Bay Area I was such an awesome parallel parker. I then moved abroad and didn't drive for like 4 years. Now I'm decent at parallel parking, but not awesome. I don't want them to judge my parking skills!!</p> <p>Funny story: when we learned to parallel park in driver's ed, my instructor would always take us to this street where all the rich people hung out and find a spot between two luxury cars. I can drive in ok. (Actually on the weekend my husband made a comment about me being too close to the other car as I was pulling in, but then when I straightened out.. it was the perfect angle and I was perfectly straight between the 2 cars! As for back end, I'm very good. I think sometimes I park better backing in than pulling in. Haha.</p> <p>I, also, have to say that now that I have a CRV, it's actually easier to park than my accord. I finally noticed how good of a parallel parker I became about a week before I sold it. I was kinda bummed that my next car might be harder to park. Luckily, it's been easier.
