Also it totally depends on your baby. As my LO got older I became much more lenient with the "rules".

I totally do. I save partially finished bottles too but most often I try to curb that by being conservative with the amount I put in the bottle and adding a bit more from a different bottle if need be.

The hospital standard is four hours untouched and 1 hour if baby has drank any. I follow it pretty strictly.

Yup, I always put them back in. Have done for 8 months with no problem. My liquid gold is precious!

I do! And the nurse who taught my breastfeeding class puts unfinished bottles back in the fridge for another feeding.

Not a pro, but I would!
I put unfinished bottles in the fridge and use it at his next feeding. So far so good!

I am unsure about this. I know once LO starts drinking breast milk from a bottle that I've pumped, I should not put it back in the fridge for later use because bacteria could have gotten in....but what if (like today), i take a bottle out of the fridge and it is in my bag for 4 - 5 hours, but he never drank from it? (I ended up feeding him from my boob when we were out). Can I then put it back in the fridge and use it another day?
