I used a universal registry system so although there were target items on my list it wasn't target specific. The two items we returned were duplicate purchases so I was really happy they were so accommodating about the returns. The only catch is that we were only able to get back what the current rate is for the item, so if your case is similar to mine, you may want to check to see if it's on sale prior to trying to return. One thing I learned is I will never send a gift to someone without a gift receipt! I was dreading Target returns because it was a nightmare when we got married but it was so, so easy. When you get to the store print off your gift purchase log and they will take just about anything.
