Nope, but we don't even know if my rigth side ovary works due to the size of the cyst I had when I was pregnant...so it's a mystery to all :)

@Vegmama: lol. Timing is fine, but only my right tube works, so if I O on the left, it's over before it starts.

I have been cramping on both sides all day, but just had a jump-straight-out-of-your-chair pinch on the left. I guess that answers my question! (And means I am out already.)

Yes, I have sharp pinching sensations. Mine usually switches sides each month.

I know O pain can be subjective, but when I was TTC I felt like I could usually tell. I would get subtle, dull, one-sided pain that matched up timing-wise with ewcm and opks. Twice it was confirmed on ultrasound that I was right! Who knows if the other times were just guesses... but I liked being so in tune with my body. Fun times, huh? lol

Thanks all. Before DD, I could always tell because I had excruciating pain during O. But after I had the endometriosis removed from my ovaries, I no longer had much pain. Today is my first postpartum O and I am just feeling really crampy on both sides.

(This is relevant only because I only have one unblocked tube - so if I O on the left, the whole cycle is shot and I may as well just start drinking wine now...)

I think so, it always seems to come from the left. I've only had a pre-O ultrasound once, and it was confirmed that my left was going to O that month at least.

I used to be able to. But now, postpartum, my ovulation pains are much more intense and I feel them throughout my whole midsection.

Yep, I typically get O pains that are concentrated on one side or the other. When I got pregnant, I knew I O'ed from the left, the U/S technician confirmed this at my first U/S.

I only know when the RE takes a look and tells me! When I took femara, I had a very full feeling and knew when I was going to ovulate.
