@Running Elley: lol! Same - especially for LO's, I don't hesitate to call the ped and I'm almost always being crazy

For myself though, I trust my gut. It's hard for me to see LO's or DH hurt because I don't know what they're feeling exactly so I worry more about them.

Not completely, I think I am a bit quick to react but at the same time I know that if something keeps niggling at the back of my mind it is probably good to get it looked into, crazy or not.

@MamaMoose: I'm the same way with myself. I secretly seriously worry that something awful is wrong with me, but when DH is like "Why don't you just go to the doctor, then?" I'm like "Because he'll tell me I'm nuts!" I'm currently convinced I have a tumor in my thigh bone because my leg hurts...

Generally I am pretty spot on for myself, and I was with DS too. With DH I generally think he is overreacting, but half the time he is actually sicker than I give him credit for haha.

Nope. I thought LO just had a bad cold and she had RSV. Another time I rushed her to the pediatrician only to discover all she had was diaper rash. I don't know what's up with my mama gut, but I need a new one.

No, definitely not. And they always say to "trust your gut" but if I did we'd be at the doctor's office multiple times a week! My gut is almost always wrong when it comes to medical issues.

For myself, yep! My gut and Dr. Googling skills ;)

From the beginning of having TTC issues I thought it could be implantation issues, not a sperm meets egg issue. Turns out that's exactly what it was, and as soon as I got on a blood thinner I had myself a sticky pregnancy.

Can you trust your gut to tell you if something is really wrong with you and/or your LO and you need to see a doctor? I definitely can NOT trust my gut.... every time I get a headache I'm 100% sure I have a brain tumor. And I can't tell you how many times I've asked our pediatrician if he's SURE M isn't autistic (because you know, some times she walks on her toes). With LO, I always call or email our ped even if I know I'm being crazy, because I just can't handle the risk of ignoring it if something really is wrong. But for myself, sometimes I worry that I might miss a real issue because I'm embarrassed to bring something up to my doctor because I'm 99% sure I'm just being insane.
