yes, i think so. i added an extra pumping session right before i went to bed and my supply increased over a couple of weeks. whether it was the extra pumping and/or other factors i'm not sure, but my supply did increase well after the 12-week mark (around the 6-month mark).

YES. For me, it was just drinking more water. I could never stand to take pills or drink teas. My supply went up and down a lot (I got sick a lot her first year...guess why...) but if I pumped more and drank lots of water, it always came back.

I would think so as well. As everyone else has said, drinking lots of water and putting baby to the boob all the time will help. You should also consider nursing your "job" for the time you are home. No cleaning, no cooking, no errands. Just lay in bed, stare at your baby and keep them on the boob.

Are you supplementing on your days off or only on your work days? I have trouble pumping enough for LOs bottles but there is enough milk for her when we are together and just nurse. I would think you could nurse more when you are together and hopefully up your supply that way.

Yep, just keep putting baby to the breast and your body should respond to the increased demand!

You can!!! Drink tons of water and nurse/pump as often as possible. I also found cookies made with brewers yeast to be helpful.

I was past 12 weeks when I went on domperidone. Same for me the stress of pumping at work and my crappy no-time-for-food diet & my supply was pretty weak.
The domperidone doubled my output. It did slow back down when I weaned off of it, but I was able to stockpile breastmilk for a while.

I wasn't able to increase it with drinking more liquids, oatmeal, supplements, etc.

I think you can by nursing more and pumping! Good luck! :)

I think you can. There are supplements you can try--More Milk Plus capsules, nursing frequently, maybe pumping for 5-10 minutes after nursing as well. I know some people take Domperidone as well to up supply.

I've always heard your supply regulates around 12 weeks, but is it possible to increase it after that point?

My supply took a HUGE hit at 8 weeks when I went back to work. Stress and lack of time to pump made it impossible to keep up with LO's daily intake.

I was able to quit my job and starting Nov. 1st will be home with LO until I find a part-time gig. Since I'll be home more, I'd like to BF more. Is my supply screwed at this point? He will be 20 weeks.
