I tried but failed miserably...our Golden Retriever is just too excited and strong. I'm too scared to walk her while wearing L.

I got an easy walker harness when I was pregnant. I have 2 dogs and it was really hard to walk them but the easy walker made it much better. Now I put LO in the jogging stroller (not my rinky dinky stroller) and stick the dogs in their harness and we go for a sloooow walk. When LO was smaller I would put her in the ergo and then walk the dogs on their harness. The dogs are both friendly and fairly loyal (the one would go exploring for a few minutes then come back) and I didn't walk them on busy roads or too far from home so if I had to let them go for some reason if I lost my footing or something it wouldn't be hard to get them to come back.

Ive also tried but its just miserable. Lo doesn't like when we stop and of course the dog has to stop to pee and poo and sniff and lo will whine.

This is why we bought a house with a fenced in back yard. I prefer for our pup to be walked, but when dh cant make it home in time ill let him out back. Sometimes I wish I could walk them both just so we all could go on a nice walk.... but its not worth the hassle.

I wind her leash around my hand then hold the stroller handle. It's a pain but she generally walks straight but does occasionally pull. We use a gentle leader which helps tremendously I think.

DH usually walks the dog but he is out of town. I just took the dog and baby on a walk in her stroller and it was a disaster! I tried putting her in the Ergo but I'm pregnant and it was a little uncomfortable...even at only 11ish weeks.

How do you handle walks with your dog and baby?
