What I have found is that she tends to grab it from my hands and squeeze before it gets to her mouth. So when I take the lid off, I actually squeeze the puree to the bottom of the pouch. Then when I hand it off, if she squeezes some it doesn't come out. Once she has it she is really good about just eating it and not squeezing it.
